| Weather on the Clie I've been using AccuWeather's standard service on the Clie with a wireless connection http://pda.accuweather.com
It's nice as far as it goes, which seems to be a lot farther than other weather products on the Clie. For a while, when I had an earlier model, I used the AvantGo connection and got a little tiny forecast and current conditions, but the live link is really nice.
I tried weather channel (weather.com) but even the PDA links for it seemed to want to send unknown mime types.
I see that AccuWeather offers a PRO level service, with 15 day forecasts instead of 5 and a bunch of different maps. Has anybody tried this service? I'd like to know what they think. Also, has anybody seen any OTHER good weather links for handheld?
My read on weather.com was that it was more PocketPC oriented.

| Whoa! I have Accuweather through iSilo but don't see that kind of picture. Do you happen to know the direct link to the page so I don't have to go through AvantGo to get it? |

| Oops found it.
On pc go to Accuweather for PDA and enter the desired zip code. That gets you to the first page. Then just copy/paste the link from the address bar into the iSilo link set up. You can then get the radar and satellites by clicking on the links and copying the url each time. |

| I get those maps on the pda.accuweather.com site. I used to use their AvantGo connection, but just for the LiveMotion forecast - I didn't get the maps.
From what I can see on the Accuweather standard website there is a "pro" subscription service that features not 2 but something like 15 maps on PDA. Detailed doppler radar, isobar maps and more. I know they have forecasting packages for PC, but not, I think on PDA.
I'm really impressed with the detail on the satellite map. It's got to be very close to real time, as I noted while driving last weekend, I could predict within a few miles where the rain was going to stop.

| I get weather with Vindigo. It's not as fancy as the others (no color pictures or maps or anything), but I like that it gives morning, afternoon, evening and night weather changes for the next couple days, and then a general all-day summary for the rest of the week. I also used WorldMate and that just tells you the temperature and overall weather for the day. If it's going to be sunny and 70 in the morning but raining and 55 at night, that's important information to know. |

| I get a seven day forcast downloaded to my Clie every morning from Wunderground using Handstory.
You might also want to look at Weather Manager. http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?f...B2&prodID=27598
I haven't tried it, but I do own their Stock Manager app and it's great.

| Here's AccuWeather's "Current Conditions" using Netfront on my NX80V! The actual screen on the NX80V looks better than this pic.
