im wondering how you take music from your PC, basically all on windows media, and move\ play them ont he tj35's aeroplayer?

and im not quite sure about at that 'bit rate' talk....ie: 86, 128...what do all those numbers mean?

boy do i sound retarded.

thanks for any input

It's recommended that you re-rip music directly from your CD's in Ogg Vorbis or mp3 format, rather than converting from WMA or AC3. Use a USB card reader to copy your ogg or mp3 files from your PC to a Memory Stick for your TJ35.

The higher the bit-rate, the higher the fidelity of the compressed file, but the larger the music file; a bit-rate of 128 is a middling compromise. Try some different ones and see if you can hear the difference. If you can't, use the lower bit-rate; then you can store more music per Memory Stick.

Can't you also just put the MS into the TJ35 and then transfer the files from your PC onto it using the USB cable/connection?

Please don't tell me I'm gonna need an MS card reader to accomplish this.

A simple USB card reader is usually cheaper than even a small MS or SD card, and transfers large music files much faster than using a HotSync connection. More convenient. Highly recommended.
