My suggestion is not to buy this game as they have lied to their customers from the beginning stating the below on their website since the games release over a year ago.

"A 320x320 version of the game with added features is also in the works and will be available shortly as a free upgrade to Lemonade Tycoon owners."

You'll be done with the game in less than a week.

I agree with you 100% Tixx! I usually pass over the Lemonade Tycoon threads, but when I saw the heading "tips for Lemonade Tycoon" I thought, "tips"??? the game isn't that complex! There is only one solution to the game, find the "magic" combo of ice and lemons and the game is over.

I too have serious issues with Hexacto!!! -they SUCK! I still don't understand how they have had so much success from Lemonade Tycoon!! Every other month they are winning awards for this game that was created for the Palm OS 3 like 2 years ago!!! Arghhh, okay ...i knew there was a reason I stayed away from LT threads!!! -it gets my blood boiling!!!

*LOL* Usually I pass them too, but thought, "hey, I got a tip to save people some trouble." just like you.

They are actually refusing to answer my e-mails simply asking them how their statement is not misleading for being their over a year only after they said and I quote "There was no misleading."

in reality Tixx, Lemonade Tycoon is a great concept, and the first and only Palm version was quite good when it came out 2+ years ago. Now that PDA's have come so far and the software for them has become more complex, Lemonade Tycoon is beginning to look a little ancient, and not stacking up against the competition very well.
It would be great if someone struck some kind of deal w/ Hexacto and developed a more complex version that took advantage of hi-res+ and had better AI. I have a strong hunch that Hexacto isn't a fun company to work with and probably not very reasonable, so I don't see anything like this happening for quite some time! Heck i'd rather hold my breath for an updated "spacetrader" game!

I used to play games like this on the old apple computers. Just lying to customers and potential customers is uncalled for. They are still refusing to answer my completely civil e-mails. Nice customer support They attack you in the e-mail, make false claims and then don't answer when you write to them. Great company indeed.

I couldn't agree more, the game itself (which was probably created by an outside company and bought by Hexacto) is a great concept. Yes the company itself (Hexacto) sucks. I too am pissed that I payed for the full version of LT, (which was the same as the trial version) and which I was told would "be updated very soon"!!!!! ..and yes, I've also experienced my emails going unanswered from them.

It was sad as I was having a whole conversation with Dino and he just stopped replying. I might post this conversation.

personally i would rather someone just ported simcity 2000 to the palm. it could handle it easy now with what we got. i find it sad that almost every day you go to pdarcade you see some new game for ppc yet people still try to foist some version of tetris or pong or bejeweled off on palm users.

I've noticed the same thing at pdarcade, all the good games are being developed for Palm OS. We have a few jewels, but for the most part developers develop for PPC. Is the market share really greater for PPC users?? I always thought it was about 50/50, but maybe I am way off?
