| Trouble with Vindigo on UX50? Hey All,
I'm getting funkiness with Vindigo on my UX50. When I try to sync (which otherwise works fine, both wired and wifi), when it gets to the part where the Vindigo sync window opens, sometimes - but not all the time - it gives me the 'not enough memory to sync vindigo' message. According to vindigo, this means that your version of vindigo is corrupted...they tell you to delete it so that on next sync it'll re-install. I did that process once and it worked.
HOWEVER, sometimes all I need to do is try sync'ing a few more times, and it'll be fixed. In fact, usually switching the method of syncing - to wired from wifi or vice versa - does the trick.
Can anyone think of why this would be happening?
Thanks!
TM

| not sure about that problem. you could try emailing Vindigo.
I wish they'd update the damn software, it hasn't been updated for almost two years now. They don't have any hi-res graphics (apart from the maps) and most of the application is still in black & white! grrr... I've paid for this software twice (two years worth of subscriptions) but if they don't update the software soon I won't be resubscribing... |

| Yeah I hear you. I emailed them, but no response. I really love the service, but I'm with you - it's fallen behind the times. Like many other struggling dot coms, it's entirely possible that they don't have the $ to spend on development. I wonder how many paying subs they have?

| I even emailed them and offered to do the "Services" section of Vindigo London for them for free but they weren't interested. :-(
The London one has less features than the USA cities... |

#5 | | Guest | I'm one day in to the UX50 experience and I've been doing extremely well so far...
First problem: downloaded Vindigo, which I had an account for on my old Pocket PC, and I get the following message when I try to start it up:
"The application cannot be launched because of a system error."
Anybody know what this means, what I should do?
