#1 | | Guest | Screen Protectors Can anyone recommend a screen protector? After reading through some threads here, I bought a G2. It was easy enough to install (I wore surgical gloves so I wouldn't get fingerprints on it), but it's not as clear as I thought it would be. I noticed that the display was dimmer, and the pictures weren't as crisp. So, I held one up to the light (I bought a 2-pack, and yes, I did remove the film), and saw a really grainy structure to the plastic.
On the plus side, I do like how the stylus feels on it. It seems to attract more dust, but I can live with that.
So, is there a protector out there that is just a clear piece of plastic, basically? One that doesn't dim the display or reduce the sharpness (preferable one that installs like the G2, rather than stick-on)? The Clie's a T665, by the way
Thanks in advance. | |

I have one of these on my NX70 and on an SJ30. I'd say it's a hundred times better than the Fellowes brand. It went on without a hitch. They're reusable. They don't use an adhesive to stay on. And it has a nice writing feel to it. I wouldn't say they're completely clear, but I can hardly tell a difference in screen quality with it installed. That's just my $.02 |

| If you're looking specifically for plastic , you can also try Nushields. I'm not sure how they compare to the G2s but I'm not unhappy with them. http://www.nushield.net/ |

| I tried one of the Sony branded screen protectors on my NX70V and couldn't get the thing off without damaging it at the corner, making it unusable. How are you supposed to remove the thing and reuse it? Are the Sony protectors made by Brando? Are they the exact same quality, etc., as the Brando screen protectors?
Thanks... |

| I really like my NuShields. Once it's on, you can't tell you're using a protector.

| I've been a fan of Brando protectors on other devices (especially HandEra 330)...but on my NR70V, I had two problems. First, the Brando protectors I received didn't fit quite right--seemed to be a smidge too big and not to be trimmed at right angles--maybe just a flawed batch. Second, the device couldn't detect my stylus strokes through the protector--as if it were too thick, a problem I haven't had on other devices. Anyone else have similar experiences? As I said, I've really liked Brando protectors and am disappointed that they (or at least the ones I received) don't work well on the NR device. |

Glowing screen protector, it's the best out there, only if you could wait over a month for them to arrive. |

| NuShield is my favorite If you don't want a stick on screen protector then I would recommend that you try NuShield. It is thinner than the G2 and installs easier.
I have tried them both and that is really the only difference between the two. |
