| Movie player please help Im having a lot of trouble with the movies, in fact im having nothing as i cant see any files i load.
Ok I put mpg 1 files into the memory stick it never showed up in the clie, then i put the file into the main memory of the handheld it never showed up, then i noticed a thread regarding making a folder called dcim i think then put another folder in that and then put the movie in it. Im running mac OS X but this seems to be a very longwinded way just to watch a movie, mind u i havent yet and im going mad please help someone.
Also setting up BT phone i have the Ericson T68i im from uk tried setting it up to the UX50, bearing in mind ive just sold my tungsten T which was a breeze to set up, it was a nightmare i was on the phone with orange for and hour and a half and they said youll have to phone sony in the end. Well anyway i did it myself but what a joke the machine is let down badly by sony software.
other than that i love it |

| Just use Image Converter. It will take care of naming the file and it will load the file in the correct folder on the memory stick. |

| Place movie in Memory Stick Directory: /palm/programs/movieplayer/100mqv01.
You might need to rename the movie to something like MOV00001.MQV, MOV00002.MQV, etc..
I am new at this so I dont know if this will work but this works on my UX-50 |

| On the Mac ..... Sadly it is long-winded on the Mac unless you've got Virtual PC and you can then use image converter.
If you can mount the stick on your Mac, create a new folder on the MS called DCIM and then within that folder a second folder called 101MSDCF, then drag your file into that 2nd folder. It will work if you have a properly encoded MPEG-1 file. Are you sure you've got a MPEG-1 file on your Mac? I know EyeTv rather unusually creates those files but Quicktime as standard doesn't have MPEG-1 so maybe it's the file you are using, just a thought ....

AND rename your Quicktime file as MOV00001.MOV....
