| Tool bar battery icon Upgraded from a TG50 to a NX70. On the NX70 toolbar at the bottom of the screen there is a battery indicator. When you tap this indicator, should it not show the percentage of charge left? The indicator works graphically by showing me how much charge is left but when I tap on it there is no response. Did a soft reset and hard reset with no results. Any one else have this problem? |

| It's perfectly normal. Just something that Sony left out.

Tapping on the battery icon on my NX80 does display the amount of charge remaining, as well as thresholds (when certain operations will no longer work, such as CF Slot 10%, MS Slot 10%, etc.)
What's annoying is, no matter what program you happen to be in when you tap on the battery icon, it brings up a small window displaying remaining charge, but it first takes you to the calendar app!
What's up with that?

Are you running OKEY with the arrows turned on? If so, this turns your battery icon into a datebook button. It turns your clock into 3 buttons: address, to-do, and memo. |
