| Anyone using ux-50? I was just curious if anyone has anything to report about the compatability of the more commonly use medical apps i.e. epocrates, tarascon, skyscape programs etc with the ux-50? |

I just got the UX50 yesterday. So far ePocrates and Tarascon work fine. They don't make use of the wide screen, which is not surprising, but they otherwise work the same as on my T615.
I have Skyscape 5 Minute Cardiac Consult, but unfortunately the install program crashes. I haven't even been able to load it onto my handheld.
Finally, I am trying to get the HandheldMed programs to work off my memory stick. This worked fine on my T615. Now I have the strange problem where the Reader will recognize only one of the books in the file. It will read it off the memory stick, but if there is more than one book they won't show up. It will read any number of books from main memory. I have this problem when the Reader is located in the main memory and when it is in Launcher on the memory stick. It is very bizarre. If anyone has any suggestions for remedies, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know if this is a thing with the UX50 or OS 5 or what.

Just an update on medical apps with the UX50 -
I got Skyscape 5 Minute Cardiac Consult to work. The Skyscape people were quick to answer my email. Apparently I had to download a new version of the SSCAdmin.exe file and overwrite the one that came on the installation file. After that the installation went smoothly.
I still don't have the Handheldmed apps working. I emailed them and they said their Reader is not yet compatible with the UX50, but they are working on it.

I wrote to their Tech support. They know the problem on UX-50, they are fixing it.
