| I emailed the makers of Aeroplayer for the TT regarding a version for the NX and here is what they replied:
"Will there be a Sony Clie NX version of your Music Player software?
Sony has yet to provide us with the documentation we need to do a Sony version, but we definitely want to. We're considering building an AeroPlayer-style front-end to Sony's built-in MP3 player, but that would be a bit different, and wouldn't do crossfading, etc.
We _do_ plan to add gapless playback to the Tungsten version, though.
WMA compability or MP3pro?
The license fees for MP3 pro are way too high to justify, and most audiophiles seem to prefer Vorbis anyway. WMA is a possibility, but really, if you like WMA, you'll love Vorbis, as the the quality is higher and the file sizes smaller.
Best regards,
Aerodrome Support" |

| Do not use VBR in recording or MP3 Pro. Sony is more concerned about it's ATRAC3 proprietary format than MP3's!

Right! Only simple MP3's will play on the NX series.
