Download JF light from www.brayder.com

It will tell you how much is usable

Additionally JackSprat works, so you might be able to remove some unused apps too.

According to Brayder's website, the SJ-series doesn't use a flashable ROM. I know for sure that the latest JackFlash version doesn't work on an SJ22.

I believe it is.
The latest version works. There are multiple threads here about it.

Search this forum! There are numerous threads that confirm the use of jackflash and jacksprat and which versions will work. People asking for information before trying to search the forum and find it reminds me of a saying that goes something like this. "Give a man a fish, and he has food for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

On the SJ33, only 64k is unused and available for use by JackFlash. JackFlash 2.1 and older are incompatible with the SJ33, but the newer versions 3.0 + betas work very well. At 64k, JF is pretty much useless with the SJ33...so you will need to also purchase JackSprat, which is a utility Brayder has created for pulling existing apps out of FlashRom. Using JackSprat, I was able to free up an additional 1.3 MB by removing apps I did not use such as Bejeweled, the ToDo app, MS Autorun, Clie Demo app (huge, by the way), etc. JackSprat creates a backup copy of your factory installed ROM before removing apps. Between Brayder's products, and ZLauncher, I am able to run my SJ33 with no less than 10.5 MB free RAM at all times. 90% of my apps are stored on MS or in FlashRom. Good luck!

Which version of JackSprat have you try? My SJ-33 (European version) does have Flash-ROM. (JackFlash works on it and gives me 640 Ko of free flash).

But if I launch JackSprat™ 2.0 Beta 12, it tells me that "this device is not suported by JaskSprat". I'd love to be able to use JackSprat...

As with JackFlash, the older 2.0 versions do not work with the SJ33. I currently have JackSprat v3.0b2. It worked perfectly for me! To get either, I'm pretty sure you need to buy the 2.0 versions first, then upgrade because 3.0 is beta (or something like that).
