import picture files

How do I import image files from my Clie (NX70) to my computer? I have installed PictureGear Studio. When I open the 'entrance' program and click on 'import photos' then click search. It tells me it cannot find the device that has the photos. I checked the connection and had the Clie on. Still nothing. Do I need a new or different importing program? Or, can I make this one work?

peace...

Place your Clie on its cradle.

Start the MS Import utility on the NX. Your Clie will appear as a removeable drive on your PC.

Transfer .JPGs from the DCIM\101DSC... folder on your MS to your PC.

Done!

I followed your instructions, but still nothing. Do I need to have a Memory Stick in order for this to work? I haven't got one yet...on my to do list.

peace...

That could be the problem

Yes, you need a Memory Stick... you can get a 128MB stick off of eBay for about $40.
