tg50 t68i and email??

Hi all --

Just got a t681 - and have found the world of BT good stuff!

I can do the diall from address book, send contacts, etc, BUT I want to use -email.

I have yet to install cliemail, but will --

What do I need to do to make sure this works? Do I have to set up anything with T-Mobile ( my carrier) so I can do this?

Thanks,

C

I would recommend giving Cliemail a miss and purchase Snappermail www.snappermail.com
You should be able to find info on settings for your phone and service provider at www.esato.com
I'm with O2 and found everything I needed there after spending weeks arguing with people at O2 that didn't have a clue.

It is a pain to set up but well worth it in the end and Snapper is a brilliant app.

Agreed on Snapper - thelatest version with seperate folders for each isp is excellent and integrates well with Quick office for reviewing and editing word and excel files.

I forgot to mention quickoffice. I have the premier version and it works brilliantly. I can do a lot now without having to boot up the laptop.

Thanks for the help.

I loaded Smartmail, got the driver for the phone, and all seemed well. I can use the BT to

I added my ISP ( AT&T) phone number, log in and password. I am able to dial, and connect BUT the problem I get is this --- I get the followin error:

error: authentication failure (ox1233)

Any idea what I can do here?

Thanks,

C
