I dumped an Div X avi into it and it maged to convert it into 3 separate files each of around 96 meg. Then when I put the memory stick in the slot, whilst recognising it, it refused to play them properly and the tracking bar at the side took 2 seconds to jump from the top to the bottom, when it should have been around 30 minutes.
I then converted it to an Mpeg and have again loaded it into image convertor fine, but it is spitting out 130mb blocks of video which I cannot load onto MS because they are too big - is there any way one can limit the size of file. I can't see a way of doing this in the programme itself, but maybe I am blind. Or can one edit them post image convertion?
There is no option that i know of in sony's Image converter to limit the size. try to fool around with the settings. if not, try using Virtual Dub to split your video in smaller parts before converting it.
