connecting with mobile office kit

I have preordered a ux-50 and was curious abuot a few things regarding internet connection. I currently have a LG VX4400 cell phone, and when i'm not in an area serviceable by wifi, i was hoping to use my cell phone as a 'modem' for the clie. i've contacted numerous places and none have really offered any type of acceptable solution. iv'e been told that the mobile office kit for the vx2000 is compatible with the vx4400, and that it connects to whatever it's going to connect to via USB. does the clie support this type of connecting? i don't have the option of getting a bluetooth enabled cellphone (no providers that do carry bluetooth phones support internet where i live (casper wyoming)), so i'm stuck with using verizon's express network plan (which isn't so bad, so long as i can connect the phone to the clie and use the phone as a modem). does anyone have any experience with this?
thanks,
michael

Seems like kind of a narrow window you're having to look through, but good luck! New device not yet released to be used with a specific model phone with a specific service. But, I hope someone here knows the answer to your question.

Again, best of luck to you...I hope the answer is yes, it does work.
