Is it true that i use a regular memory card on NX73 for both read and write? Also, is there any different between a MS and CF memory card in speed or anything?
do i need any special drivers or something?

You should really check out the Compact Flash Forum as there are some complex issues, but doable!!!
The included CF driver does NOT support Sony's multimedia apps out of the box. You will need to use modified(hacked) apps to get them working. The CF card works great on third party apps that support multiple cards.
