this could get us our 30fps!!!

what the are you talking about...?

it's not the image convertor that is special with the UX.....it's the DSP inside the UX that gives you the 30 fps...!!

actually....
the video encoded with IC is only 15fps
so.....image convertor must be "special" also to convert video to 30fps

Of course you are probably right about the DSP...but ya never know...OCing may help

now that I think a little more about it though....if the UX is using the palm sound API....there would be no sound even if the NXs could play the video.

but hey its worth a shot

ok i got what you mean now...sorry about that....

seems like you won't get NX to work with the new IC now..! it's really using the Palm OS 5.2 API....!

How does the UX handle MP3 music?

Does it support MP3 playlists?
I want to be able to change the order of my MP3 music from the Clie'. ArrrRRrrrGgggghhhHhhhh.

if the name of a MP3 file is changed from the UX, will the Audio Player still recognize that renamed file? Or does it automatically label it as (no title) and state; "This track is not available...blah, blah, blah...."

Nice pics. Sonic.

Question: How does the UX behave with application built for portrait mode screens like DateBk5?

Can you post some screen shots of different applications.

Thanks.

After making some quick measurements. The usable area of a screen is almost an exact square when the Virtual Grafitti area is in use. As such, I can see that generally speaking a program should look the same in Landscape mode as it is in portrait mode.

Sonic, is it awkward to hold the UX in one hand, while doing graffitti input into the UX? Or does it just take some getting use to?

the keyboard is so nice I have been avoiding graffitti..

that and I dont have a screen protector yet..

yes, the traditional "square" apps run with the virtual graffitti area and they run without a problem.
