Talking SMS, Email, telnet with BT/wifi and NZ

As a new NZ user I'm quite pleased with this unit.

I have been reading various threads for few weeks and coming up with all kinds of questions and answers.

The subject line above is of particular interest to me.

So, I thought to mention my findings on the subject, hope this is not too redundant . Just wanted to emphasis what NZ can do on the topic.

Here is my setup:

Nokia 6310i(firmware 5.2)
NZ90(all stock drivers + generic GSM driver)
WL110 wi-fi

I use both bluetooth and wi-fi for access pretty much all day. I don't use camera that often maybe couple pics a day. I'm heavy network user as well as mp3 listener.

In short, NZ *can* do full sms tap-dial and email using my 6310i(or any other similar) without gprs service. All this initiated from NZ side with no confirmation or dialogue on cell side. I get audio alarm when SMS message or email arrives..

The battery is about %45 by late night when I usaully drain it by playing some mp3.

I might be of assitance on SMSing as I had to learn couple of tricks. in doing so.
