Vibrating alert

Sorry to start a new thread for such a basic question but does anyone know if the UXs have vibrating alerts...

This might sound trivial but it is atually a deal breaker for me since I have lots of alarms going off to remind me to take blood pressure tablets (and readings) at various times during the day - I like these alarms to be discrete so...

I know the original Sony Clies did not support vibrates but they may have caught up since...

Anyone have any info please?

Apart from that the UX looks like an ideal device for my pattern of usage.

I tend to use my TT for email, sending and reading text messages and the occasional (urgent) bit of web browsing so having a Keyboard device which works well via Bluetooth with my Sony Ericsson Mobile will be great.

In fact the two together reminds me of the mobile companion device that siemens came up with for their mobiles a few years back (anyone remember that)?

I was wondering the same thing. I miss the vibrating alert from my T615 soo much. I have not seen a mention of it on the website though, so I imagine we are out of luck.

I just talked with the "Live Sales Help" at Sonystyle.com and they say it does not have a vibrating alarm.

Not good

This means I will have to cross it off my list of potential successors to my TT.

Damn!

Since the UX has a Polyphonic audio capability, why couldn't you send a 20Hz tone to the speaker. It wouldn't sound great but it might make the unit buzz.

All cell phones I've ever had had a vibrating function. I coulnd't see having one that didn't. My phone is the Motorola v.70.... and it's still relatively new.

What else are you supposed to do with your phone when you go into a movie?

Pagers did kind of die out, didn't they? How many people on this board still use one?

I have to admit that I love having a vibrate and a silent option on my T720...
