Hi guys,

I understand that the NX 73v and NX80 now comes with support for CF cards already not just Sony's wifi adapter... What I noticed is that it comes with "limited" support only which I think means not all CF mem cards will not work with the NX 73v???

My question is: So, which CF cards have been tested out there to work with the NX 73v and NX 80??? Can't seem to find the list in the sony web site...

actually...by limited I think that they mean that it isn't as fully functional as the memory stick slot. You can't use the built in Sony apps with compact flash cards. So you can't play MP3's or movies off of it (with the Sony players), and you can record audio or video to it either.

Hacked versions of those apps have been released that allow you to play/record off/to the CF slot though, so if you go with NX80 (and I think NX73, wasn't interested in NX73, so I didn't look specifically for that one) you can still use a CF card for those things, you just need to get the hacked apps.

So you could use the CF cards to store and retrieve data for other apps...except for the built in Sony apps (assuming you do not get the hacked versions)???
