Obviously the UX is aimed at the competition. The Zaurus would really rock if it had the Palm OS!

the zaurus is at least 20% bigger than the UX, can't really compare in term of size...

Also Palm OS is easier than Linux in the sense of software support and others

I mapped out the size of the UX50 compared to the NX73 and the SJ30. The UX50 is almost the same width as the SJ30 is tall. It is also about 1.5cm taller than the SJ30 is wide. Just to give you an idea of the size compared to something similar in size.

I'm still debating whether I like it or not. I'll probably go ahead and get the NX73 since I need a PDA now, but I'll play with the UX50 when it comes out in stores.

Just to make it easy to see, here's a scaled comparison of device outlines using some ot AndyJapan's data.

The upper left-hand corner is the common starting point.

the zaurus' are pretty cool but the ux is better in the fact that it is smaller, and uses the POS,but it would be real nice to have a sl-c760....
