I have upgraded to zlauncher latest version... i enjoyed the new array of improvement such as the shortcuts and the hiding the rom thingie...
But everytime i start or close a program there is a dialog stating backing up something... as for my case every single program i close it will always tell it is backup the "printme" program..
I am actually quite a newbie... can i off the dialog or by any chance stop it... actually izzit to show that the it is backing up program to be hotsync??
I believe what you are seeing is the information and staus bar window that appears when your app is being loaded from MS to Ram when you launch and when the app is being moved back to the MS when you close out of it. I do not know of a way to disable this.
This is not a flow or a bug, but a normal operation of ZLauncher. It does not have anyting to do with hotsynchs or other backups, it merely is a status indicator to let you know what the launcher is doing.
Ususally the Backing Up message only happens when you run apps from the /PALM/Programs/ZLauncher/Apps folder. If you run the apps from /PALM/Launcher you shouldn't get that message, but you won't be able to run the databases off the card from that folder.
The specific symptom you reported has nothing to do with ZLauncher itself. "printme" is a worthless add-on that comes with Adobe Reader for Palm OS 3.0. I deleted it from my device, as it caused no end of problems for me. You may have to perform a no-notify reset (hold down page up while pushing the reset pin, then release when the Prefs screen comes up).
