I would like to know if anyone is aware of a sound converter that can convert PCM format sound files into SMF format. DateBk5 is not able to play sound files in the PCM format even though the Palm datebook and Clie Sound Utility applications play them. I have used Sound Converter 2 to load the sound files on my NX70V initially.
Apparently DateBook5 isn't the only program with this limitation. I just finished talking with DataViz about their Beyond Contacts product. It too has the same "problem" They said if they get enough requests for an update, they'll add the .PCM funtionality to it as well as .SMF.
If you don't get anywhere in this thread, I'd start talking to DateBook5 about adding it as a permanent fixture in their programming.
