I've recently seen on a friend's Pocket PC PDA the (I think) Microsoft's Pocket Streets mapping software.
One of the nicest features was being able to find places of interest in the neighbourhood of an address you looked up; stuff line restaurants, theaters, hotels etc. And of course you could add your own.
Is something like that available for Palm ? (preferably HiRes/HiRes+)
Search other threads on this site for more info. Their "Place Guides" in conjunction with a "map package" of your choosing will give you the functionality you are looking for!
