I am not sure what you mean about a harddisk case? If you want to attach an external hard drive, no. The reason is the Clie itself acts like an external hard drive. You need slave and master for USB. The Clie or a hard disk would be the slave and the desktop PC would be the master.

I've read somewhere in the specs that the NX70V actually contains a USB Host controller. With drivers, the NX70V could possibly connected to all kinds of USB accessories.
