| My highest score on dopewars without cheating was over $97 million. I had bought a load of cocaine and went to a different area and the prices rocketed TWICE. I sold each for a half a million. To bad it isn't the real thing |

| Once you have 500,000 dollars, go to high tech planets and sooner or later, you'll find one that has a 'moon for sale' button in the lower left hand corner.....buy the moon and then you're done...disappointing yes, but it's a damn good game, especially when you consider the price after beating space trader more times than I can remeber, dope wars is a big letdown. It's cool for a while, but with the taste of Space Trader on your tongue, it doesn't last long....theres a great text game called super star trek that's been around since the 70's which is damn good, but I don't believe it's been ported to the PalmOS

| What level are you playing the game on? Try the impossible level for more entertainment.
I, too, became somewhat addicted after first playing it a year or so ago. I was using a Palm m505 a the time, and discovered a few bugs. Pieter Spronck is a great guy. He and I worked out the cause of the bugs, and he listened to many of my suggestions for the newest (and last ) version, which I helped to beta. (He even was kind enough to include my name in the credits ) He is working hard on Picoverse while doing his day job, which includes teaching. Last I heard, he had received permission to have parts of the programming done on "company time" as he was using it as an instructional tool.
Check out his web site: http://www.cs.unimaas.nl/p.spronck/...se/SpaceTrader/
for all the info. Have you tried out the cheat codes? They can allow you to play with some features and make for a different way to play.
I can hardly wait for picoverse! It kind of reminds me of Vernor Virge's universe of Quen Ho traders (i.e. A Deepness in the Sky)

| I just have to say that because of this thread I tried the game and I'm now a proud addict to it. I haven't gone as far as you guys, so, if you could share any tips and tricks, it will be awesome.
