| SplashWallet suite: worth the $$$??? i need SplashMoney (or anything that'll sync w/quicken) and SplashID (maybe will use YAPS instead, tho)...
but the shopper and viewer apps are no big need for me... so, is it worth shelling out 40 bucks?

| I use Splash ID and SplashPhoto quite a bit. I haven't used Splash Money yet. I bought Splashwallet before it included Splash Shopper and I like HandyShopper so much, I doubt I would have changed anyway.

Yes, I think it is and I do use Splash Money, it does Sync with Quicken, but only one way, Clie to Quicken.

| I use SplashID extensively, but haven't started using SplashMoney yet. I used to use SplashPhoto but almost exclusively use AcidImage now. Still, it's a great suite, especially if you can get a deal on it. I got it for free with a Handago promo when I bought my Clie.

| I have recently started using the SplahWallet items. The following is what I thought was very cparable to Splash.
SplashMoney - BankBook4
SplashPhoto - AcidImage
SplashID - eWallet
I am still torn between which ones I like best.

| SplashID is one of my "indispensibles!" I use SplashPhoto too. Not sure if it would win over other viewers but it meets my needs. The desktop conversion tool is fast and easy to use. I don't use Money because I use Pocket Quicken (syncs both ways). And, my wife does most of the shopping so Shopper is not a big deal to me. Let me clarify that last statement. The only shopping I know how to do is "point-n-click" shopping! Anyway, it's a great suite with frequent FREE UPGRADES!

| Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder, wellsjs. I use SplashShopper all the time, too.

| SplashID is much more than a password keeper. I looked at the screenshots for STRIP, and SplashID blows it away. I guess it depends on what you need.

| I don't mind paying if I get a fair value in return. The idea that developers may make some money on their product, gives them incentive to produce more and better products. BTW, I once was paid just for showing up to work, so I guess I can give a little back

| Just throwing in my .02 worth... To me, one of their greatest assets is their terrific customer service response. I had questions/complaints and they were QUICKLY answered & handled. BEFORE I REGISTERED. Think about that for a minute. I registered SplashShopper before it had a desktop. I use it for everything now....DVD lists, book lists, packing lists....I could go on and on...

hherbzilla... thanks for the advice.
what exactly makes splashid better than an encryption program like yaps?
