| Help: How in the hell do you play a movie from the CF? Hello all,
I have a Clie NX60 with the updated CF driver (1.1ver), but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Clie Viewer or Movieplayer app to recognize or play movie files from my CF card. The card is there and I have tried masquerade mode, as well as the MS switch trick. What am I doing wrong?
Newbie...I know. But, at least I'm trying.
Regards,
Jeff B. |

| Do those same movies play okay on the memory stick?
The folders all have to set up the same way. Then the movie files have to be named a certain way, regardless of which memeory medium it's on. Yes, you have to use the Masquerading mode for the CF card, because the Sony apps are NOT multi-card aware.
Example of a how a movie must named and is case sensitive.
PALM/100MQV01/MOV00001.MOV
Please remember, the Clie looks at these files the same way a camera would for compatibility.

| Larry,
Thank you for the tip. I didn't replicate the whole directory structure on the CF card...that was the problem. Now, it's working, though I have to say that if any of the video toggles are moved during playback the Clie hangs up and I have to perform a soft reset. I guess it's the CF card speed or the new caching component on the newest CF driver...off to test some more.

| This is still an issue with the driver. Don't believe it's speed related. Workaround is to stop the movie before sliding within the timeframe. |

| accesing CF for Clie camera each time I try to access the CF for saving movies from the cameraI have to do a hard reset of my NX70.
I use MS in masquerade mode. CF is recognized by McFile which is the manager I use. What I am doing wrong?
I have done at least 100 hard resetting on my new Clie in less than a week. may this be harmful for it?
I am using Launcher X as my main Launcher.
Thanks
