 | Unsure of PowerSDHC
I'm still using my Palm TX and only now I'm thinking about buying PowerSDHC. I downloaded the trial version and tried it out. It did what it had to do. The trial version expired and now I'm finding a little problem that wasn't mentioned. The device turns on by itself for a couple of seconds and then it turns off again. It actually always did that, but now it does it A LOT more often. That seems to be draining the battery. I finally uninstalled the app to avoid that.
I didn't use it that much while the trial version had not expired, but I think it didn't happen then. Now I'm not so sure about buying the application, I do need the extra capacity but I don't want to have that little problem permanently.
What do you suggest I do?

| Dimitry has basically disappeared from most any forum dealing with Palm stuff. He has moved on. So, while his site is still live, and you can make purchases, if you run into any problems either with the software, or the purchase itself, you are unlikely to get any help or response at all from him. Caveat emptor. | |

| Damn it  ... thanks for your reply! Is there then any PowerSDHC alternative? I'm worried about loosing my money.

| Stock up on 2gb SD cards is one alternative. For music and videos I use a PSP (3000 version) because it also has a removeable battery for switching for longer playing.

| I took the chance paying for PowerSDHC. After a couple of days everything seems ok, I'll keep you posted if something happens. The only thing I don't like so much is the fact that it takes like 3 or 5 seconds to read the 8GB card after I insert it, but that's not a big problem  . | |

| Did the power on/off problem disappear?

| The problem reduced itself to its usual frequency, to which I was already used to. I'll let you know if he answers me .

| the rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated. I've moved on to work at google, I have lots of side-projects to keep me busy, and I fly planes for fun now, so that doesn't leave much time for email.
