| Roll Call!! Sooo... who still drops in here still?
What're you all using these days?
I'm still using my TH55/E, although I think I will need a new one as mine has started acting up (Battery keeps dropping, but if I apply a flexing force the level jumps back up!)
Still not found anything to replace it!
Smartphones have come a long way, but they're still awful for text entry IMHO, and still so slowwww compared to my TH55 when switching between programs! |

| I'm still using my Treo 680 and TH55 everyday, I use a SL10 too as it is great for outdoor use where no backlight is needed, mainly for ebook reading.

| I'm here on most days when I have internet.
My TH-55 roller thumb/scroll needs cleaning and I websurf more with my TX. But downloading news using Mobipocket is still great.
I have four Treo 650 and when I find a cheaper newer one I might try that.
LD is a scary/delicate device, VZ is too expensive and UX definitely will need a supplemental battery.

| Still checking in to see if any of the new tablets will provide a satisfactory replacement for my TH-55U/E . Bought a UX-50 last year off of ebay for $70, very nice. |

| I would be interested in a HP tablet based on Webos. I wonder if Brighthand or engadget would be better websites to await the 'verdict'.
However if I were to add new threads here it would be about batteries and how to modify them to fit into my Palm and Clie devices....
I still add topics on PSP and chances are it will be a dead platform like the phasing out of Nintendo DS.

| I have not been here a while - the format is completely different. When did that happen?
I still use my Zodiac - mostly for the PocketQuicken. My daughter would like me to give it to her for the games.

| i lurk once in a while... =)
i still have my treo680 and no current plans of exchanging it for another phone. battery's dying though, so i'm looking at the Seido/Innocell 2400mAh for a replacement (i'll be posting something on this later).
i'm quite fixated on my data, games, and whatnots, and havent found any device equal to the palm os. i don't mind if the graphics is not as smooth as the webOS and iPhone. i did look at the iPhone a while back as a replacement but cannot get over the "missing" keyboard. =D
my sister still uses her treo750 and my mom is using my bro's old TX for reading ebooks. she's in her late 60's and a confirmed cenophobe, but she'll brave the digital jungle for the sake of her first love: reading! =D |

| Weee! So many
Just got my replacement battery from Vincent so it'll be interesting to see if that helps my TH55's problems.
I just backed it up and a good thing too as I took it out of my pocket just now and it was at the PalmOS logo and all stripey
I think something inside is actually badly damaged
Sooo... anyone selling theirs?
/me looks for DanT... |

| Still here as well -- I've the RSS feed on my livebookmarks.. so it's easy to just have a look-see if any topics are of interest.
And my Treo 680 is still alive and kicking: just replaced my crimson housing to a copper one too! So aside from the 80% battery life, it looks good as new That, along with SplashID and SplashMoney.
I'm using an O2 Pre for everything else though.

| I came back today for old-time's sake. I remember Joel would post April Fool's jokes every year.
I left palm devices behind in 2007 and moved onto iPhoneswhen they debuted. I'm still as much of a fanatic about them as I was with my Clies. Jailbreaking and modding and whatnot.
Joel, what are you doing these days? Any new ventures?
Would love to connect with any of you guys that lurk around from back in the old days. I'm on Twitter if anyone wants to catch up!

| I came back today to look for April Fools jokes, but I occasionally drop in as well.
For blind data entry, the TH55 would work better (I used Graffiti 1), but to hold it and a stylus still requires two hands, so it's not worth it.
My jailbroken (mod-able) iPod Touch 4 obviously is far more powerful, and I'm a big fanatic. You really can't get a better device that isn't a phone.
I'll never sell my TH55/E though. =] It really is an amazing device. |
