Ladies and gentlemen, to send SMTP mail to a server that required authentication, go to ClieMail...Menu...Accounts...Edit...(or New)...Edit...More... and select "SMTP AUTH" under the drop down for SMTP Authentication.
This in addition to the other voodoo of entering usernames, passwords, POP3 and SMPT server names, etc.
