 | TX digitizer replacement
I just replaced my digitizer and I cannot get it to recognize a tap on the digitizer. I have replaced it once before and had no problems. The only thing I did different this time was to disconnect both cables. I attached both cables again and still when it comes to the calibration screen, the taps are not recognized. Anyone have a hint of what to do?
I just read another post about using a device this old, but I just got a smart phone and am about ready to take it back. The smart phone doesn't hold a candle to the TX in a lot of areas. |

| I recently replaced my digitizer with what I thought were disgusting results. It worked fine, then it acted up, so I tore the thing apart and put it back together again, which worked for a bit, and then acted up (it was wildly off when trying to use the stylus, and calibration wouldn't let me finish, evidently it thought the parameters were way too off.
So I put it up, and my wife started playing with it -- it was fine, and it has remained fine. I don't understand what was going on that would make it act that way. Being a new digitizer, the cable didn't want to lay flat, and that's the only thing I can really see.
But it IS working now. | |
