| I still use my TX to listen to music over bluetooth while I ride my bicycle. I also use it to carry shipping and inventory info in the field at work. I am hoping that Aceeca gets on with there semi rugged and commercial garnet devises. I would really like something that is sturdier for work. |

| I used to own one but I sold it long ago. I still have my CLIE because it was just too unique to sell. I needed money at the time and kind of feel saddened about it.

| Hi:
I still use my TX daily. I have a Samsung Moment to take the place of Vindigo and Avantgo but Android is still unstable and undeveloped. I still say my T/X rocks.

| I still use my TX everyday with my BB Storm. The memopad on the TX is irreplaceable!! And I can't get around not using Palm Desktop, I've been using it since 2002!

| I use mine every day too. With a 16 Gig SDHC card, thanks to Dmitry, it is my entertainment center of choice. With pTunes, Audio Gateway, pktQuicken, iSilo, BigClock, DateBk6, HanDBase, Kinoma and SolFree, it does almost everything I could want it to do.
I almost forgot one of the most important reasons that I am still using the TX, an aftermarket, glass digitizer courtesy of Chris Short. (The original plastic screen almost had me mad enough to throw the thing against a wall)

| Every day. Wife and I both. There's nothing comparable to replace them so I have spares, too. |

| I use mine every day:
1. Sunrise XP/Plucker = better than AvantGo
2. Still use Vindigo but no updates
3. I have the WRT610N at home for B/G/N Wifi
4. I use all-you -can-eat 3G BT tethering ($19.99/mon) to my T-mobile TM506 for connectivity away from home
5. Pocket Quicken - everyday
6. Audio gateway for BT stereo listening/TV shows (see #7)
7. CorePlayer to play shows processed overnight from my DVR (ReplayTV) to watch on the subway to work
8. Docs to go for reading clippings
9. slingplayer for live TV/recordings and live camera feeds from my home (see the kids in action!)
Nothing out there can do all of this at a reasonable cost....long live TX
PS...using PowerSDHC...a must!!! |

| This is from *real* feeble memory, but I think what you really want(ed) to do was rename the existing installation folder on the PC to '_OLD' and do a fresh install. That way nothing is lost. I have no experience with WIN7, so YMMV.
Good luck! |

| I'm syncing to my Treo 755p on a cleanly built Windows 7 32-bit PC using HotSync Manager 6.0.1 and palmOne/Palm Desktop 4.1.4. No tricks or workarounds, it just worked. Palm Desktop itself works as well. Sorry I'm not offering any tips, but I just wanted to let you know that it can work - if you're lucky.
Thought Manager Desktop works as does its HotSync conduit, but one of my most heavily used apps, Note Studio (desktop version) doesn't work nor will the HotSync conduit. |

Oh crap....I forgot my win 7 is 64 bit.....went 64 bit because of all the adobe software I am running......but all of my software seemed to load OK.....but when I hot sync it says it cannot connect.....and I have been off the actual xp machine long enuff that I cannot remember if the T/X actually showed up in the MY COMPUTER folder as a removable drive or not.......but it is not there on either the 64 biy "real" side or the Virtual PC XP mode side..........
crap crap crap!!!! Well as soon as XFX gets me a RA maybe I can have my less than a yr old XP box back up and running and this dell laptop will become what it was meant to be....my travel workhorse........ |
