| I think it might cost sony like $150 to fix it, but for $150 you might as well get a new updated palm |

| You can buy a new screen digitizer here for $45. Then replace it yourself. I took mine apart w/o any problems, as shown here and the screen is shown here. Geocities has a really good disassembly and assembly procedure for it. I posted some of the disassembly notes here.
However if you decided to sell it for parts, let me know. I collect old N760C spareparts for myself too. Or if you need me to help you put together the screen for you just send me PM.

| If that was actually run over by a car, and judging from the extent of the damage on the screen, I am willing to bet you have some broken boards in there as well. Have you taken it apart, or are you willing to? Make sure there isn't more hardware damage before you buy any new screens.
I'm amazed the case looks that good. |

| If you still can turn it on and see something on the good part of the screen and the view changes as you tap the hard buttons or any of the silk buttons (Home, Menu, Calculator, or Find button), chances are you are lucky enough to just have broken screen and digitizer. The leather case might have absorbed some of the crush and saved it from further damage. If you don't see anything by tapping one of those buttons, that could mean the TFT layer, or like Ocell said, the board(s) got damaged. That could mean major repair or time to say good bye to it.
BTW, I ran over my laptop with my car once. I left my briefcase next to my car and forgot about it as I was talking to a friend before leaving my office. Afterwards, I got onto the car and backed up. I felt I ran over something as I was backing up, and you know the rest. The briefcase was one of those soft leather type with padding. It got torn up pretty good and the laptop screen was cushed, but the LCD was still working. I was lucky enough that nothing else was damaged. All I need then was to replace the screen.

| If you decide not to repair it, can you give me a small plastic piece that covers memory stick indicator? (small transparent piece of plastic covering indicator that flash orange when memory stck is accessed). I am hunting for that thing for a long time already.

| I am in need of the screws that hold it together. I had mine in a baggy when I was cleaning the inside. Someone tossed the baggy...

| Wow, you definitely crushed the TFT layer too. Hopefully you can find replacement. I wish I knew someone/website/store that sell that parts. Getting one from a dead N760 or N610 may be your best bet in fixing it.
