| Not sure if you're lucky because it survived or unlucky because it fell in the first place!
Makes me wonder if the wrist strap isn't such a bad idea... |

| Just judging from different user comments over time, the NZ90 may be big, but dang if it isn't tough. I remember somebody saying they dropped their's from the second or third floor and it survived unscathed. |

| I think it depends on what part of the nz hits the floor. I dropped my first nz and one corner of the swivel screen hit the flloor. The impact loosened the swivel screen. |

| Mine's taken two hard falls. One in the livng room out of my hands while walking. Caused hard reset and loosened the left side of the camera casing by the lense. Second, cat knocked off nightstand. Landed on bottom edge and put a slight dent on the left top edge right next to where the power LED is. Also lost a little finish from that. Pretty sturdy unit. Can't see one of those flimsy NX's taking that kind of abuse....

| my NX survived a few falls. But the NZ does sound like a very sturdy unit, I guess bigger is stronger? |

| I dropped mine awhile back.
I was getting some things from the trunk of my car and my NZ fell about 4 feet on to asphalt LOL.
It survived the fall very well, a couple little scratches on the holder for the stylus tip and a little one the corner above the flash.
I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the NZ. |
