| PowerRun & Palm\Launcher Have no idea what's the difference between using PowerRun and by simply putting the apps directly into Palm\Launcher directory.
Using ZLauncher we can simply move the app to Palm\Launcher and ZL will automatically create a shortcut to that app.
So do we really need PowerRun? |

| PowerRun moves both the application file and it's associated database files.
For instance, the new Aggression game has a 200kb application file, but it's graphics database file is 1meg. Using Zlauncher, only the 200kb application file will get moved to the Memory Stick. Using PowerRun, both the 200kb application file AND the 1meg database file will get moved to the Memory Stick. So then you have 1,200 kb free, instead of just 200kb. There are also a few prefs files that get moved as well. |

| When you play the game, how low of free RAM can have? Can you keep as low as, say 500KB of free RAM, w/o crashing the system?

| You need to have free as much space as need by the app. In the case of Aggression, you would need to have at least 1,200 kb free for it to run using Powerrun. |

| nlode, haven't heard from you for a while. Glad to see you back here again.
Anyway, getting back to PowerRUN, that's what I was afraid of and decided to use PiDirect instead, where I can get by with low free RAM.

| Hi DanT!
Now that I have the NX, I spent more time in that forum.
PiDirect is a great app, and it is something I miss having. |

| The virtues of PowerRun can't be understated. Mammoth applications like NetFront and PicselViewer become a lot more appealing when they can be fun from the memorystick. So far, I have received no errors from any of the applications I moved - including NetFront - and the time it takes the applications to load is quite acceptable. |
