| Hate to sing to the same tune but I would have to agree, WA Clock is best I found. Works really well...has plenty of options, and you can see what time it is in other parts of the world. Which can definitely come in handy for some of us with clients or kids or whatever in other time zones.

| I'm using WA Clock too, albeit haven't really bothered trying out other alarm clock apps out there.
But is it me, or is my alarm way too soft? Under Prefs its set to Loud but its still pretty soft. |

| OK..... I'm using WAAlarm on my NX80 and all is fine, except when I mute the sounds so my wife doesn't give me "the look" while playing solitare in bed long after she's gone to sleep (let's not get into the social implications of THAT :-)
So, now I'm tired and put my Clie down and forget to un-check MUTE. Now I'm screwed as it's 9am (instead of 6:30am) and my plane has taken off without me.
Surely there has to be some kind of utility out there (or another Alarm Clock program) that doesn't pay attention to MUTE????
Best regards, |

| I'd like an app that you can set times for the unit to be muted and unmuted... does anyone know of such an app out there?
I was using my NX70V as an alarm clock, but I have a software conflict that is keeping WA Clock from making any sound! It keeps going off every morning, but it never produces a sound (and it is not muted). Right now I'm depending on my old alarm clock and my new cell phone to wake me up, but I'd like to hunt down this software conflict and use WA Clock again. |

| I have been using big clock for quite a while...especially when traveling. I refuse to rely upon a hotel alarm clock or wakeup call...

| skorpiankh: Hell yeah, I'm thinking of taking out the fans and putting in LED fans. But I have to admit, for a P4 rig, this thing runs cool as hell stock. Love working in it, all nice rounded edges, there's pretty much NOTHING to cut yourself on in there.
But I can't find my case key! |

Big Clock has an option to ignore system mute.

| upside down the trick is to turn your clie speaker side up before you go to bed! Then you will hear it.

| I use my clie as an alarm every single morning. I don't need anything special, I just use the datebook. Create an entry (I call mine "UP") and put in the time you want to get up and set the alarm. No need for any third party apps to take up space and best of all, with the great clie built-in alarm sounds, the alarms are nice to wake up to, and I've got them set to go off every ten minutes for half an hour. Works like a charm. No need for any other program than what's already in there. |

Used to do the same thing. Now, instead of MUTE, I just turn down/off the Game Sounds (System is already off.) and leave the Audio and Alarm sliders all the way up.
WA Clock rocks. Much more reliable (set and forget) and convenient than cluttering up my already overloaded Agendus. |

#30 | | Guest | the only thing about using the built in datebook for alarms, if you sync with your office outlook, you end with all those alarms there as well. thats why i use a 3rd part - megaclock. | |
