| Palm Pre Site is up and running...though there is a glitch. I am seeing. They have the webOS running over a centro . Way to go, but at least it shows what the apps look like
EDIT: Wow, all the apps look incredible. It looks like I won't have to go looking for any 3rd party apps.

| Folks over at Treocentral has posted up a video showing an ok quality video of the Keynote. It will give us an idea how the WebOS works. Palm Pre Keynote
EDIT: I'm just seeing this and wow, the animation is pretty amazing. The live cards is incredible. They flicked through the contact list, pulled back and you still see it scrolling in the background. Oh iPhone killer for sure. Easy app access instead of having to go back to the home screen to access the apps you want.

| WOW! Finally we see something from Palm. I am amazed Sprint is getting all this Palm action. Now I wonder if I should switch my buggy Treo 800w for a Treo Pro or a Palm Pre. I wonder if Sprint would allow me to choose. Hmmm... Choices...

| At this rate one should wait to see what Palm does in a couple of months. First the Pro and now the Pre in just a few months..... I just got Pro right after it became available. Way too soon to think about anything new. I still love my new Pro. |

| There is something big missing in the presentation. Where is Docs2go for webOS? This is a phone to organize all the data in life, and a big chunk of my stuff are in Office documents and pdf files. Maybe we should wait and see.
Just don't tell us that we should run Docs2go in a OS5 emulator, just as running Office '04 in an emulator when Intel Macs came out...
Either way, the Palm Pre remains the most intriguing phone I've ever seen. Maybe my "dumb-phone" days are nearing it's end
@ssulux:
Sony's out of the picture, and for good. First of all, Palm really got burned when they spinned out Palmsource (rumored to be partly by Sony's request so Palm doesn't get exclusive resources on OS development), so I think they would stay away from the licensing mess. On the other side, Sony is refocusing on mobile entertainment devices, future mobile devices would either be the PSP, Walkman (you might want to check out the NWZ-X1000 with Wi-Fi), Vaio P series or that funky Mylo thing. As much as we love Clie organizer, I don't envision it coming back, ever. Today's Sony is a very different beast from what it was.

| Well on the list of sponsors, we see Dataviz up there so we should be getting Docs2Go for WebOS. Dataviz never let me down with their Palm products so I'm sure it will be good.
