| Notice that they mention that their cybershot and movie cameras of recent vintage can use the "new 16GB memorystick". In addition they added an update to their Mylo and maybe later PSP to be able to use the new memorystick. Since they abandoned Clies ages ago, only a few hacks can enable some of TH-55 programs. Stick to memorysticks less than 2GB and you won't need any hacks.
BTW what could you possibly need all that space for? If it is movies Sony prefer for you to use their Mylo or Psp. If it is wikipedia on your memorystick 2GB should be enough for some versions of wikipedia....

| I have 18Mb used out of 32MB on the Clie TH-55 you should never get too low on free space. Palm has too many programs that will interact with other programs so you have to devote some space on your memorystick for back up. Since most card readers on the computer can use the 16GB memorystick, save your back ups there, put your movies there, put your songs there because back up hard drives are corruptible too ( I ruined one back up hard drive already)
Since I do have a PSP and a Cybershot I could use a memorystick now called a mark 2 model....but love using a 526mb card for everyday files (file z and ebook readers...) between my TG-50 and Th-55. I also have various other MS cards for each type of purpose....

| If you can get the FAT32 driver to work, it should be able to access the 16GB stick with the usual caveats (AudioPlayer and MoviePlayer don't work etc.).
IIRC the MS driver and MSPro spec is good up to 32GB.
This is deffo try-before-you-buy 'tho; I've not tried so I can't really say one way or another whether it works...

Wow!
AVI files on your TH55? With Sony's Image Converter you can watch your favorite film with less than 200MB, really no need to use AVI (with the right codecs of course).
