 | Google's GrandCentral Dialer for PalmOS
I am looking to see if anyone can make a dialer app for Google's grandcentral service that will allow you to dial phone numbers direct, without having to add them to your online address book first. I have seen dialers for this on WinMo, Nokia, iPhone, Blackberry, PC, Python, and php scripts. I have yet to see one written for PalmOS. Does anyone know the complexity of writing this? Does anyone know someone who can do this? I am curious and it has been driving me nuts that almost every platform out there has been developed except PalmOS. Is there any developer here willing to take this on? |

| well, you'd have to get me an invite to grandcentral first, since till the i have no idea how to do it and no way to test

| Sorry, I dont have any more invites. They stopped letting people invite around 8-12 months ago. I just happened to have on sitting in one of my email accounts that I never used. If I can come across another one, I will let you know, but I am not sure I will as they are really hard to come by. | |

Just an FYI, there is an error message that comes up after the Dial Succeeded screen. The error is: still open (Net 1203)MainProg.c:405=> Error closing netlib
However, the app still worked (6 out of 6 dial attempts successful). This is exactly what I was looking for. It will suit my needs perfectly. Thanks for making this. I will look on your site to see if you have a donate section, if not I will buy an app from you to help support you. Thanks again! | |
