Very interesting article (it doesn't mention Clie's anywhere, if you're looking for any info), but the most interesting is at the very end, the mention of a 'supercomputer on a chip' could be very nice, especially for PDA's.
I like that kind of analysis. Not that I haven't been saying much the same for the last year or so about Sony. Personally, I hope noone else ever combines electronic devices and entertainment, as they'll run into the same problem.
Add to that MicroSoft's Palladin (that is the digital rights from the motherboard up project, right?) might make it hard to run non-MS software on inexpensive hardware, and the future looks iffy.
