| Hi Supertrucker
There is a feature in Apt's Prefs+ screen to prevent Apt Triggers & Prefs.... naturally on a per-app basis.
If for whatever reason you want/need enabling/disabling Apt in an automated fashion, you could always try doing it w/MacroPlay. Like Apt, there is the possibility that some apps might not play nicely w/it, but you can also assign triggers fm w/in MP...
Other Topic: There should be a URL in your registration email... or Pent will likely step up w/the info for you...
If you want to

As t1 mentioned, you can use the checkbox in Prefs+ to disable Apt's triggers (turns off all the notifications).
Wish I could find the problem with launching a DA in Blazer from Apt. It's totally reproducable, and DBLP works fine, I just don't know what the problem is. Probably it's the same root cause as the problem with popups. Quote:
BTW, I used Paypal on your site to purchase Apt, how do I download it now? |
I just woke up, will send you reg confirmation.

| Sorry for the screw up Pent, see what happens when you get in a hurry and don't follow instructions? I'm an example, sent him my hotsync ID instead of my device ID! :O |

| Does anybody know how to configure the Apt's macro to do auto-crawling at certain time on Netfront?
I've tried as following:
*Default*
Time = When time is x
0700
App
Netfront 3.1
& = Add action to macro
Ctrl
Tap 1019
& = Add action to macro
Nav
cntr = center button
The application doesn't even start at that time.
I just can't figure out what is wrong.
Appreciate your help.

| I never tried those time triggers, so I can't really help. Maybe they don't work when the device is off at the specified time, or when it is locked... don't know.
What I wanted to suggest is for you to take a look at Mass Downloader (MassDL) that can automatically download stuff from http and ftp servers on a given time. It's perfect for nightly downloads/updates. Perhaps it is a different way to solve your problem...

| Thanks for this thread, I agree that this is a great app!
Here is a handy thing for a lefty. Sets the handedness of the unit to Southpaw, sends you to the Apps screen (soon to change to whatever Launcher I settle on), and gets the annoying DIA out of the way, all at once after every reset:
... > Wait 1000
Ctrl > Tap 1005
Panel > Handedness
Ctrl > Tap 1203
Ctrl > Tap 1233
App > Applications
DIA > -
Here are a couple for those who use MiniKeyboard. The first one turns off full-screen Graffiti (to eliminate the misrecognized taps which result in periods everywhere in your typing), calls MK using the Cmd bar (which seems to be the only reliable way across all apps), rotates to landcape and gets the Status bar out of the way for max screen size:
Input > Graf-
Pen > CBar K
Disp > RotR
Disp > SBar-
Here is to come back to the app from MK:
Pen > Tap 14.146 (Clicks the 'OK' button on MK)
Disp > RotL
Input > Graf+
All simple stuff so far, but VERY handy!
Anyone else still using Apt? |

Hard not to it. It is so intigrated into my TX it would be a much different machine without it. A killer app for the Palm OS. |

| Auto wifi off when leaving Web and SmbMate and VersaMail
I created a macro for automatically turning off the wifi antenna when exiting these apps. Disconnecting is nice but for optimal power savings the antenna should just be off!
So here is the macro that is called from each app:
Panel > WiFi
Ctrl > Tap > 1013
Nav > Up
Nav > Center
Ctrl > Tap > 1005
Disp > SBar~ (I like keeping the Status bar out of my way whenever possible)
And then from within each app:
Exit > ... > Wait > 1000
Apt > Call > WiFi
I found that the initial wait was necessary to keep the transition stable after app exit. |
