slbenz Guest Posts: n/a	GPS and Wi-Fi CF Combo Question Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on a possible all-in-one GPS and Wi-Fi Compact Flash card solution for our Clies. My company is currently working on this solution and I wanted to find out the interest in using and purchasing this type of solution. Do you think Sony would be interested in this product as well? Your thoughts on this all-in-one solution would be greatly appreciated.

As we speak, I think there are companies doing something with it already. If you can do a bluetooth/GPS combination. that'll be neat too! It would be especially excellent if it works with a variety of software (like my obvious pick of Delorme products...). The downside of course is that I wouldn't be able to store all the maps on the CF memory card...

To answer the question on memory, yes, we plan to include an integrated 128Mb memory storage into the card to handle the various maps we would use in order to free up our PDA's memory card. Let me know if this added function would be of use as well. We wll definitely try to keep the pricing down so that many people can benefit from this product.

I'd be thrilled to have a GPS card that worked with my NX70V. A GPS and WiFi card with onboard RAM would be ecstasy.

Consider me volunteering up for any beta programs.
