| A little treat for you all - FREEWARE skinUI SkinUI is now freeware, as a little treat to all you guys. You've supported me and my programming for five years now, and I only hope that you enjoyed this time at least as much as I did. Thanks.
This is a sort of an early farewall post, just a bit ahead of its time. nuRom for LifeDrive is done and will be released soon and SDHC driver for Palms will be my last official project. I will, of course, continue to fix and update old projects, but unless something changes dramatically do not forsee many new ones. I've done all I wanted, and I've had plenty of fun along the way. why?
i am extremely worn out after this semester, the next few months after i move to Mountain View, CA, i plan to spend every weekend at the pool, reading with my phone by my side - OFF!
Why this app? This app is just the one i am most proud of, it is also the biggest project i undertook under palmos. So i felt like sharing it.
After i rest up a bit, i might be back, though i am not sure. i am joining VMWare fulltime, and plan to get my MBA studying in evenings and weekends. i am not sure how much free time i will have.
Long Live PalmOS!
[skinui download is on palmpowerups.com]

| Dmitry,
A nice gesture for your impending goodbye (in terms of new projects, anyway). You have done so much for Palm users.
Will you be adding SDHC support for Treo 755p, or Centro?
You've certainly helped Palm to live longer & better! Thanks!

| Thanks, on behalf of every Palm user who doesn't make it to this thread, for every thing you've for my (and their) PalmOS handhelds.

| Dmitry,
Thanks, but do they go over the 4Gb that the salespeople seem to talk about?

| Well, thanks a lot Dmitry!
Now I don't need to get a new registration code (Sorry if I was the one who send you the last email on top of the sdhc requests which made you snap, go crazy and release it as freeware). I am sure this program will be appreciated by the whole palm user base and might even find its way to factory default devices in the future (and resurrect palm). Do tell us why this is your farewell present and what you are planning next (Microsoft didn't bribe you to stop did they? ).
PS: Your OS X skin which can be downloaded from your site does not seem to work on skinUI (corrupt pdb?)

| Dmitry, you and Alex are some of the biggest reasons the palm community still has some diehard fans arround. Your innovation, patience and generosity will be greatly missed. This is starting to look like another chapter of the palm saga is ending. Soak up some California rays, rest and relax...then come back if you can |
