New user here. My friend got a SJ30 at Ebay to replace her i300. We CAN NOT get the software to load on her PC running Windows 98SE. We've contacted Sony and HP to no avail. We get to the part to install software on the desktop, the PC locks up and we get the blue screen with the following message:
Invalid VXD dynamic link call from JSPRINT (01) + 0002404 to device "1100", service 1.
We have our 2 computers networked via Netgear and using Sprint DSL. Another odd thing. After we uninstalled the previous Palm desktop software, (for the i300) we tried reinstalling IT and got the error message above. Have no idea what to do now. Help is appreciated.
See if that loads okay. I'm guessing that invalid call is a JavaScript problem. Perhaps Sony is using it in their install UI... Anyway, if the Palm version works, you're all set.
