I recently downloaded Fair Use to convert dvds to use on my palm pilot. I usually rip the dvd's using few mb to keep the files small, but I have noticed that Fair Use also creates these .fud files that are Gb large. Do I need these files for anything? If I delete them, can I still play the video?

Once you have your avi file, all others can be deleted. They are just the work files used to create the avi.
