Cloudbook delayed too much so I purchased an EEE. Right after the purchase (like a day later), Wal-mart starts selling Cloudbook. I think its a sign that God wanted me to have an EEE. LOL. Anyway, I've been reading up on the Cloudbook's graphics and the EEE's are far superior so I'll stick with the EEE.

I think you will enjoy the Eee. You should be sure to go to eeeuser.com and check out the forums and wiki for a lot of useful (and some useless - to me) information. Some of the things I had read about the cloudbook were not too complimentary. Regarding the "touchpad" in particular.

Ok guys. You might be getting pissed off at me by now but I want a Cloudbook again. The main reason is because of this...

It can play Vice City !

The problem with the EEE IMHO is the 4G of memory and the small space for modification compared to the Cloudbook. The only reason I got the EEE is because I thought the Cloudbook would be coming out in March which was too far away. I think more can be done with the Cloudbook. Plus, I got a touchscreen and I don't think it will fit in the EEE.

A fair number of people have done touchscreen mods on Eee PCs. It depends on the screen you have. It's your money, buy whatever you want. Why would we care?

Who says I'm keeping slow-as-hell gOS on there. I'm putting XP on it. BTW the last time I had 4GB of HDD Space or something close to it was my Windows 95 machine with 3GB. I don't want to go back to that.

Yea I'm just going to keep the EEE. I'm getting tired of the back and forth. I already have the EEE coming to me so I'll just accept it. I'll have to get more memory now and more RAM. .

Not worth it IMHO. Too thick. Even the DS is too thick for what it does. I'd prefer a PSP if that also wasn't as thick and underfeatured. The EEE will be my gaming machine.

It's easy enougn to use SD cards or USB sticks for memory. They're cheap and portable, and work fine. You can also plug in a USB hard drive if you want. Having all the storage internal is confining, and an old-school concept. You can take the external storage and use it on any computer you like, anywhere. I haven't found the SSD space limiting at all. The sub-30 second boot time is also nice.
