Often times I get asked the question "How do you post an image on this site?", well this is why I'm going to bring you this tutorial on how to post images on a vBulletin website. Experienced web users probable already know how to do this, so you can just ignore this thread
First of all, you have to find a website to host your images for you. There are many options out there, including sites like PhotoBucket and ImageShack that will host your images for free. I myself prefer PhotoBucket, because it just seems the fastest and easiest one to use. This tutorial will give you step-by-step instructions on how to upload images to PhotoBucket, but if you would prefer to use another image hosting service, the process to do this is probable roughly the same. To get started, PhotoBucket requires free registration, and you can do that
here.
Step 1: Hosting Your Images
First of all, you want to head to your image host (in this example
PhotoBucket. At PhotoBucket, you will want to Login, then click the "Browse" button (pictured below), and navigate to the image you want to upload.
Once you have done this, you will want to click the "Upload" button.
Step 2: Copying the Image"[IMG]" Code
Once you've hosted your image, you'll want to copy the vBulletin [IMG] Code to your clipboard (Pictured)
(Just clicking on it will do the trick!)
Step 3: Embedding The Image In Your Post
Now, where you want an image to appear in a post of yours, simply paste the [IMG] Code you copied. It's that easy! Enjoy embedding images in your posts
