A manual will come.
The DST "sun" only appears on cities having DST now. In the moment Sydney have. You see it on the screenshot in the upper left corner. Actually the time shown on the bar is already DST corrected so it is just extra info. Quote: | Originally Posted by Supertrucker Thank you for the player per alarm option, it's great!

I have to do some preparations before sales can start. I will inform here!

| As of yesterday, I officially switched from WatchM to Belltime as my official alarm system
The only thing I'm really missing is the crescendo feature.
The only new thing I'm still wanting is some way to replace my TX's 5-way press-and-hold clock with Belltime
(although now that I think of it, an alarm log would be a neat feature too)

| Aha! THAT's why it wasn't showing up (I had 3x, not 4x)! Thanks Jaap.

| Thanks Jaap, I like this small & functional app very much, but the new version is still little buggy.
1. The function of Vibrate cannot support treo 650
2. When I use 5way button to cotrol "timer" slot, the center button seems buggy, I press center, then timer begins, I press center again, the screen of "Cancel this running timer?" appears but disappears automatically, just like I press center button two times.
3. Not a bug but a suggestion, could you please add more 5way buttons support? eg. more function for "stop watch", "time zone", left/right to set alarm names and go to the set screen?
Thanks

| Thanks Vincent,
1. Vibrate works on the 680. Did you check Vibrate in the Alarm Settings of BT?
2. Actually I wanted to to more in this version, but did not finish it in time. Inplemented is just the setting of the time digits on the weekly/daily/timer alarm. I forgot to block the other 5way possibilities, some make no sence.
3. I will do more 5way support, like setting flash alarm, stopwatch and time zones. On alarm slots with functions on the right half of the screen , I have a bit of a problem: To get there, I have to make a unit of the alarm time setting (select before you edit).
This would make time setting more complicating as it is now. Any ideas?

| Thanks Jaap,
1. I check the vibrate setting on my 650 and confirm BT cannot support 650.
2. I don't understand your meaning very clearly, guess you mean the time setting window (blue window with 0-9, cancel, ok ) prevents the 5way focusing on alarm name, etc. I think you can separate the left and right button functions, eg. right button defines alarm time setting while left button defines alarm name, time zone, start/stop/pause of stopwatch.

| And Jaap, I remember another suggestion, could you add a new function for "show next event" slot? That is how much time left to the next event?
eg.
next event: alarm
tomorrow 7:30 / 10h 20m left
Thanks

| 1. Also with your Treo mute turned ON, you have no vibrate with the circle pop-up?
2. Hmmm that's a way, but maybe not 100% intuitive.
I'll put this on my list: time left to the next event.
Thanks,
Jaap |

You mean I must mute my treo in order to make Vibrate function work? Sorry, I misunderstood this setting.
Yes, It works after I mute my treo 650, however, almost all alarm apps which support vibrate don't need handheld was on MUTED status, such as, diddlebug, treoalarm, mobileclock, etc. I think BOTH sound and vibrate help me realize there is alarm event when I'm in some noisy places.
Also, I suggest you could individualize the vibrate on/off for every alarm, eg. one weekly alarm NOT vibrate & another timer alarm DO vibrate, surely, that needs BT can vibrate without muting treo.
Finally, about the MP3 player, since you use treo 680, could you use the MP3Codec.prc which is in ROM of treo to play MP3? Just like what Butler does. Probably it's easier than supporting ptunes/aeroplayer/coreplayer/tcpmp to play MP3.
I know I request new features too much, sorry, that's because I think BT is a promising app.
Thanks

Vibrate should work at least with mute ON (Theatre etc.) Sound + vib is usefull also, and will come a bit later.
MP3Codec.prc is ok, but pTunes has a better interface. Of course you can play also the other music formats supported by the respective players.
Yeah, I like brainstorming. Features other apps DON'T have are also welcome!
