Supports MP3 players PocketTunes, Aeroplayer, CorePlayer, TCPMP in the full version. Midi sound with volume escalation and repeat. For everything on the screen set your own colors. Offline drift correction for the system clock. With an hardware button, toggle between BellTime and any other application. Take a glance at the clock, with auto-off after 3 seconds. Supports devices with PalmOS 5.x and display resolutions 160x160, 320x320 and 320x480(Portrait). Hmm... Also, I don't see an option to purchase, only an expiring demo. What's this going to cost and where would it be purchased? Thanks.

It looks like it has a number of great improvements to WatchMaker; I might be convinced to upgrade. I notice that this is the application formerly known as WatchMaker+ -- I take it that means you're planning to compete in the commercial market with it. scottl, I plan to sell BellTime for less than 15.- US$. Purchase will be from my site and PocketGear or other.

Well, I don't call it WM+ anymore because that would suggests Watchmaker is included, but the skins are missing. So, Watchmaker will be there also in the future as freeware (with bug fixing and maybe some other skin, if I feel like that) and BellTime will be the more functional alarm clock as shareware. Of cource you can always run
the two apps together on your device, they don't byte each other (hope so...)

John, for a timer with pause I need an extra button, but there is no space. Otherwise I still make small improvements for WM. but the BellTime concept with slots and tools, makes it much easier to inplement new features.

I decided now, to make a BellTime freeware version with limitations. It comes next week. The full trial version will be extended until 29-feb-08.

I am curious how Watchmaker users compare the two apps!

_Em Beta Tester Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Igloo Posts: 2,377	I've woken up to WM for the past 4 years... only times I've slept in are: 1) when I was able to randomly hit the OK button when still asleep (maybe make the snooze button big and the OK button small on the alarm screen?) 2) when I got lint in my headphone jack and the alarm didn't audibly sound 3) when my Palm locked up overnight. This is how the BellTime alert could look like on a TX. Colors can be changed. Snooze time is variable.

Arc Light Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Posts: 88	Tomohawk I have been using my T3 for several years as an alarm clock. I wake up to Pocket Tunes music. I have to turn the volume down to about 75%, and pick a song with a quiet begining so that I am not jolted out of bed. The alarm has never failed me, and is loud enough to raise me from the dead : )
