| Gah, it interpreted my rolleyes : and the end of the parenthesis as a yellow smiley. Hey vB, what is the yellow smiley more important than the rolleyes one? |

i do that a bit, too. sometimes i don't go for long enough, sometimes i accidentally get two capital letters!
i've gone with the doing a circle to get the capitals. do you do that or a squiggle? |

I've installed it but the output is garbled (see below). I've disabled Display Manager and WarpSpeed. Anything else I should consider? Quote: | Originally Posted by ferrous i've gone with the doing a circle to get the capitals. do you do that or a squiggle? | I try both. I do a little better with the circle (best when counter-clockwise for some reason). I've also tweaked the sensitivity options and just haven't got it worked out yet. Sounds like a few here can use it quite effectively. I'll try harder Quote: | Originally Posted by BrentDC A skilled person can type much faster with the ATOMIK layout than any Graffiti. | Ouch, I'm un-skilled! Have you been talking to my wife?!

Anyways, I thinkk if you just added that green that's already in the statusbar to your vowels - it would be pretty much perfect!
Have you tried one using varying shades grey instead of black (just shifting your colors up 1 shade)? I think that might look nice too. Just a suggestion for options... |
Ok, I shifted the grey up 20 points on the RGB scale, tell if you like it better or worse than the darker one (I still have to shade the vowels a different color....)

| cms, I'm still pondering wether to do a QWERTY style to..... (this would not be a regular KB, it would be like you've never seen before, but I would have to look in HPSkin Studio and see if it could be done, and how much work it would take.) |

| Ummm... Ok - perhaps it's my mediocre monitor - but I can't tell a difference between the one you posted yesterday (post #71) and the one you did today... What am I missing? Are these the same images?

| I think I uploaded the right image.... It should be slightly lighter, and when I checked it on my laptop (on my Palm now), this looked slightly lighter than the one I posted yesterday..... It might be hard to see, but can anybody confirm the second one is lighter in color? |

I pulled each up in a different window and compared - I thought I could see only a slight difference, but I'm really couldn't tell. I didn't go as far as adjusting monitor settings... |

| OK. Adjusted monitor (Dell Ultra LCD) brightness and contrast while comparing cropped screen caps of images from this page (#7) and page 5. No difference for me! I cleared browser cache.. Don't know what else to do. How about a post with the two images in it? Then we can see them side by side. |
